The ceramic vase Shaky was born as a provocative and surreal object. It is an abstract presence, characterized by a clear geometry, placing it outside of time and a specific space. A cylindrical volume, elongated, bends and, describing a semicircle, draws a U‐turn designed by Gianluca Sgalippa.
Le vase en céramique Shaky est né comme un objet provocateur et surréaliste. Il s'agit d'une présence abstraite, caractérisée par une géométrie claire, en le plaçant en dehors du temps et un espace spécifique. Un volume cylindrique et allongé se penche et, décrivant un demi-cercle, dessine un demi-tour conçu par Gianluca Sgalippa.
But one of the two legs does not touch the ground plane: in addition to interrupt a perfect geometry, this asymmetry generates a feeling of instability. Not surprisingly, in English “shaky” describes a person having difficulty in walking and standing. The balance of the vase is guaranteed by a metallic weight placed on the bottom of the other leg. The flowers are inserted into the slot at the top of the curve and can be housed either in one or the other leg or in both. via
Mais l'une des deux jambes est suspendue. Cette interruption d'une géométrie parfaite et cette asymétrie génèrent un sentiment d'instabilité. Sans surprise, en anglais «fragile» décrit une personne ayant des difficultés à marcher et rester debout. La solidité du vase est garantie par un poids métallique placé sur le fond de l'autre branche. Les fleurs sont insérées dans la fente en haut de la courbe et peuvent être logées soit dans l'une ou l'autre branche ou dans les deux. via
